I always admire my sister in-law for having such a colorful backyard because of so many different types of fruits and plants growing. I remember that last summer when we visited them I was able to pick a big bucket of apples to make an apple pie. Yum! it was really delicious especially my husband is that one who made it. The taste is really a lot better than a bought apple pie. Now we are thinking this coming spring to get her some Blackberry plants to add to her area in the back by the fence. It is a perfect spot to have black berry. Hmm for sure we can always harvest enough to make a black berry cobbler. Thinking about it really makes me excited and hungry. I think its always a good idea to plant fruit in yard when possible because you can always benefit from the crops.
